How Friendship Heals: A New Anthology Supporting Women’s Health

At the Lois Hole Hospital Women’s Society, we know that connection is at the heart of community, and that storytelling is a powerful tool for healing. That is why we are proud to spotlight Creating Connections: How Friendships Feed the Soul, a new anthology co-authored by Nicole Van Kuppeveld and Lois Hole Hospital Women’s Society member Melanie Nakatsui.
Through this heartfelt project, Nicole, Melanie, and their co-authors explore the transformative power of friendship and its vital role in women’s mental health. Even more meaningfully, they’ve committed 50% of all book proceeds to the Lois Hole Hospital Women’s Society until the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation’s Royal Ball this fall.
We are proud to highlight the incredible work of these authors through their writing and deeply appreciate their efforts in furthering the conversation around women’s mental health. These stories shine a light on the importance of connection and the impact it can have on everyone.
Here, Nicole shares more about the inspiration behind Creating Connections and what readers can expect from this beautiful collection of stories.
